Invitations to the best researchers from around the world have already been sent.
To ensure that top researchers will study the Kumbh Mela, the government of Uttar Pradesh has sent invitations to several prestigious institutions including Harvard, Cambridge, Oxford, Columbia, Princeton, Yale and Indian Institutes of Management to research on the preparations and conduction of the Kumbh Mela.
Why is this important step in the right direction?

The reports that they obtain and their suggestions will help improve the management of the mega event. These universities will conduct researches that will also include detailed study of mythological importance, gender issues, history, infrastructure and impact on economy. It is a good move that proves all those wrong who claim that the BJP is all about show. This step is actually commendable as it aims at improvement with the help of a detailed analysis.
